Upparel was founded by people who understand the challenges and pain points of the industry. We started in 2017 as a traditional promo distributor working with suppliers and decorators across the nation to service clients from local businesses to Fortune 500 companies. With a strong conviction for improving efficiencies we set out to build technology to provide customers with an intuitive order experience and streamline our internal processes.
After years of optimizing our own business we began notice a lack of technology and proper infrastructure in the industry at large. Now we’re on a mission to empower the other thousands of promo distributors, decorators, and suppliers with technology the promotional products industry deserves.

Carson Hunt
Cofounder & CEO
Previously worked in Industrial Engineering and Project Management at Lockheed Martin and Tesla. His studies focused on the intersection between Business and Engineering at the University of Central Florida. Carson has a passion for emerging technology, alternative higher education, and process improvement.
Jorge Obeso
Cofounder & President
Previously founded a full suite digital marketing agency and worked in venture capital at Loeb.nyc. He is an experienced venture consultant and multifaceted executor with a penchant for building and scaling growth-oriented businesses. Jorge has a passion for traveling, alternative education and making venture capital more diverse / accessible.
